Klaasen set for Van Gerwen clash after easing past Bialecki at Dutch Darts Championship

The afternoon session is complete at the Dutch Darts Championship and Jelle Klaasen and Daniel Larsson have moved though to the second round.

On Saturday evening, in a tie where there is certainly no love lost, he will face Michael van Gerwen after easing past Sebastian Bialecki 6-1.

Klaasen started the first leg with a series of mediocre scores, but then produced a 156 checkout. With a 13-darter and a 117 check-out he then took a 3-0 lead. The next two legs went with the darts, before Klaasen hit a 15-darter in the sixth to take a second break. 'The Cobra' finished it off with a 16-darter.

Daniel Larsson also managed to qualify for the second round of this Euro Tour tournament. The Swede surprisingly won 6-1 against Mario Vandenbogaerde, who missed sixteen darts on the doubles.
