Daniel Larsson has so far been the standout player results wise in PDC Home Tour Group 23 claiming consecutive wins from his opening games.
Larsson who for some would have come into tonight as the outsider has proven once again the unpredictability of the PDC Home Tour and his quality.
He began proceedings by seeing off the star name in Kyle Anderson 5-2 with an 83 average to claim the opening points of the evening.
Dirk van Duijvenbode averaged 94 in his opening tie against Martin Schindler seeing him off 5-1 as the Dutchman showed his form which has seen him have his best year so far before the Coronavirus pandemic.
But despite that Larsson claimed his second victory and pounced on 11 missed darts at double from Van Duijvenbode to see him off 5-2 and put himself at the top so far.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.
