Daniel Larsson has won PDC Home Tour Group 23 after claiming a clean sweep of three consecutive victories and will move through to the next round as the spots begin to fill up in the online tournament.
Larsson who before tonight was up against one of the most in-form players in Dirk van Duijvenbode and a former TV winner in Kyle Anderson but showed his prowess to finish on six points with +11 leg difference.
The Swede rode his luck at times including against Dirk van Duijvenbode who missed eleven darts at double in their tie but he sealed it in style with a brilliant whitewash win over Martin Schindler with a 100.2 average.
Dirk van Duijvenbode finished second with one wins and two defeats with every other player finishing on the same points but 'The Titan' finished ahead on leg difference despite not living up to his form.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.
With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.
