Lauby qualifies for PDC World Darts Championship for second consecutive year

Danny Lauby has qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship via the American CDC Tour Order of Merit after six tournaments, he finished at the top of the ranking.

The American Tour was completed over two weekends. On the first weekend, Lauby won two out of three tournaments and made it to the final of the third event.

He only had one Quarter-Final as the best result on the second weekend but his lead over Leonard Gates was big enough.

Last year Lauby made his World Championship debut in Alexandra Palace and then lost 3-2 in sets to Ryan Searle after an exciting match and is seen as one of the USA's finest talents.

There is still a small consolation prize for the other players in the top eight of the final Order of Merit. Together with the eight best Canadians, they can participate in the CDC Continental Cup. The winner of that event can participate in the US Darts Masters in 2022, in which some PDC top players also participate.
