Glen Durrant has continued his dream Premier League debut with a 10-9 victory over Gary Anderson to begin proceedings and to reach the Final.
Durrant who topped the league phase will now face off against Peter Wright or Nathan Aspinall after surviving four match darts against 'The Flying Scotsman'.
Durrant didn't come out the blocks quickly but neither did Anderson with the former claiming the opening leg with throw in the form of a 23-dart leg.
After The Flying Scotsman levelled up the tie though, Durrant streaked ahead in proceedings going 3-1 up after Anderson squandered seven darts at double in that requisite leg to hold.
Despite Anderson coming back into proceedings with a break back, Durrant claimed an immediate break to restore a two leg cushion and he held from there to make it 5-2.
Anderson hit a 124 checkout as he attempted to spark himself back into life and he was soon 6-4 down at the interval.
A 120 checkout saw him break throw for a 6-5 deficit and despite Durrant stretching his lead, Anderson led for the first time with a break of throw to make it 8-7.
He went towards the finishing line with a 9-7 lead with back to back 180's followed by double 20. Durrant hit a 113 checkout to stay in proceedings but he survived a match dart from there and it was 9-9 and a decider.
Anderson was down to a makeable finish first but fluffed his lines on a 25 checkout missing further match darts and double 10 saved Durrant's skin and completed proceedings.
