Draw and Schedule for 2020 European Darts Grand Prix confirmed

The draw and schedule has been released ahead of the European Darts Grand Prix which is set to begin on Friday 16 October in Sindelfingen.

The third European Tour event of the season after Hasselt in March and Hildesheim which saw the return of on stage action in Germany.

Michael van Gerwen will be top seed in proceedings and he will take on the winner of either Mervyn King or Lithuanian debutant, Mindaugas Barauskas.

Gerwyn Price will be number two seed with Ian White number four. For the former a potential meeting with Devon Petersen once again awaits.

While for White, it will be the winner of a tricky tie between Scott Waites and Jason Lowe. Peter Wright is not involved for the next lot of European Tour events as well as the World Cup of Darts and this means Krzysztof Ratajski is now fourth seed.

Other top ties in the first round on Friday include Kim Huybrechts and John Henderson, Damon Heta will make his second European Tour appearance against Adam Hunt.

Michael Unterbuchner will also make his European Tour debut against Darius Labanauskas in a strong German contingent including Max Hopp, Gabriel Clemens and Kai Gotthardt.
