As well as the huge standard in Wigan today at Players Championship 5, there has also been a nine-dart finish with Steve Lennon hitting the perfect leg.
It is a tenth nine-dart finish on the PDC Tour this season and the eighth in the Players Championship series alone.
The Irishman was taking on Kai Fan Leung in the Last 32 and it proved a good omen with him coming out a 6-1 winner with a 110 average. This is to back up the same scoreline in the Last 64 against Scott Baker with a 103 average.
