"Let's do it! It may never happen again!" - Luke Littler in no doubt about accepting Premier League invitation

Yesterday, the PDC announced the eight participants for the upcoming Premier League Darts. Included in the lineup was World Darts Championship sensation, Luke Littler.

"After the final, my manager pulled me aside and asked me if I wanted to do it," Littler tells Sky Sports, detailing what a busy schedule he's likely to have in 2024 now due to Pro Tours and Euro Tour qualifiers, plus travel. "I said... let's do it! It may never happen again! Same as I've just come runner-up, that may never happen again so just gotta take every opportunity I can get."

Of course, newly crowned world champion Luke Humphries also received an invitation to the Premier League Darts for the first time in his career. "This is a new experience for me as well. Last year was incredibly busy and I wasn't in the Premier League. I now know this year, is going to be even busier."

"I think Luke (Littler) did make the right decision. He's a top talent in darts now and these are the sorts of things you want to be playing in. Massive arenas with the best players in the world week in week out. It will grow his game to even greater heights and hopefully it does the same for me as well," Humphries adds.
