List of participants for German Darts Championship 2023 including Humphries, Van Gerwen, Wright and Michael Smith

From October 13 to 15, the German Darts Open Championship is on the program in Hildesheim. The field of participants for the last Euro Tour tournament of the season consists of 48 players.

Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn have protected status in the draw and enter the tournament from the second round. Also among the top-16 seeded players are Dave Chisnall, Josh Rock, Damon Heta, Jonny Clayton, Peter Wright, Michael Smith and Nathan Aspinall.

Through the Tour Card qualifier Vincent van der Voort, Danny Jansen and Gian van Veen managed to secure a starting spot for the German Darts Championship. Also well-known names like Chris Dobey, Jules van Dongen, James Wade, Stephen Bunting, Alan Soutar and Daryl Gurney came through this qualifier.

After this tournament, the balance will be taken and the top-32 of the Euro Tour Order of Merit will receive an invitation to participate in the European Championship in Dortmund (Oct. 26-29).
