Results Slovak Darts Open Tour Card Holder Qualifier Round-Up | Wright, Michael Smith fail in qualification as King, Reyes, Hood lead the way

The qualifier for European Tour event nine took place on Wednesday afternoon with the Slovak Darts Open (ET9) on the calendar with 10 spots being sealed to play in Bratislava.

Taking place between June 19-21, 10 more players have joined the line-up albeit not including Peter Wright, Dimitri van den Bergh and Michael Smith who all lost out.

Mervyn King did manage to qualify though as part of the 10. He saw off Greg Ritchie in the final round and will play in Bratislava. Owen Bates was the first through to the ninth European Tour averaging 96 to see off Richard Veenstra.

While Benjamin Pratnemer who saw off Adam Paxton 6-3 also took care of Peter Wright in the round before. Jim Long also paid heed to the recent good form of Max Hopp with the Canadian seeing off the Maximiser 6-4. Wins also for Keane Barry who saw off Charlie Manby 6-5. While Tyler Thorpe took down Arno Merk 6-4. Justin Hood was the best of the round seeing off Stephen Rosney 6-5.

Tom Sykes sealed his spot also alongside Jeffrey de Graaf and Cristo Reyes with Madars Razma, Samuel Price and Mickey Mansell losing out.

There will be one more qualifier today with spots in Leverkusen up for grabs. Another 10 will claim their place and that will be confirmed for the 10th European Tour. This all ahead of the next European Tour this weekend in Riesa.
