Lloyd on Wright potentially becoming World Number One: "It is just a case of when not if"

Colin Lloyd believes it is a matter of time until Peter Wright becomes World Number One which is potentially on the horizon.

Wright could become World Number One as early as the European Tour next weekend with Gerwyn Price defending a lot of money in the next few weeks.

"Peter's obviously the World Champion. He's got the bit between his teeth at the minute and he wants that World Number One spot," said Lloyd to The Darts Show Podcast.

"I think what it is as well, Gezzy is defending a little bit more than Peter at the early stages of this year. I think it is inevitable really, I think Wrighty is going to go to Number One, it is just a case of when not if."
