Lowe through to De Sousa clash after emphatic win over Larsson at PDC World Darts Championship

Jason Lowe is through to the second round at the PDC World Darts Championship after an emphatic victory over Daniel Larsson 3-0 in sets.

Lowe averaged 88 but produced 112 in the final set to finish it off with five 180's, 31% on the doubles and ton plus checkouts of 107 and 100.

Lowe missed 11 darts in the opening leg but had no so such double trouble in the second pinning double three to go 2-0 up and he was throwing for the set. He produced a 94 checkout to claim the opening set to go in at the break ahead.

A 107 checkout saw Lowe head into a 2-1 lead in the second set as he went one away from a 2-0 sets lead which he claimed on double 20.

A 180 and 100 checkout for an 11 darter saw Lowe go 1-0 up as he looked to head towards winning the match. Another maximum and double five saw Lowe go one away. An 82 checkout saw Lowe conclude it with a final set average of 112.
