At Players Championship 13 in Hildesheim, Germany on Monday, the level of play was not at the usual height we have come to expect. Not since DartConnect began to measure these things has there been fewer 100+ averages.
Ever since 2018, the scoring system DartConnect has been keeping track of all live scores, results and statistics from the Players Championship tournaments. On Monday, only twelve 100+ averages were thrown, according to TheRedBit180. The old record stood at 14, thrown during a Players Championship tournament in 2019, which was also finished in Hildesheim.
Other statistics also show that the level was lower than normal. The tournament average (90.06) was the fourth-lowest tournament average ever. The number of 180-scores (442) was even the second lowest ever.
Furthermore the tournament had the 4th lowest average (90.06) and the second lowest number of 180s (442).#Darts I #PDCProTour I #PC13
