Luke Humphries and Kiwi trio go on an adventure to Hobbiton ahead of New Zealand Darts Masters 2024

This weekend, the PDC makes the trip to the New Zealand Darts Masters as the 2024 World Series of Darts makes it's latest stop off. As is often the case as the players travel the globe, aside from the darts, some sightseeing has been on the menu.

For the world champion and world number one Luke Humphries, plus the Kiwi trio of Ben Robb, Jonny Tata and the only PDC Tour Card holder from New Zealand, Haupai Puha, a trip to the home of the iconic J.R.R. Tolkien characters, Frodo and Bilbo Baggins in Hobbiton has been the sightseeing trip this time around.

As seen in images posted on the official social media pages of the PDC, Humphries, Robb, Tata and Puha can be seen visiting the iconic location that saw worldwide fame and notoriety due to the filming of the 'Lord of the Rings' film franchise. With beaming smiles on their faces, the top darting pros definitely seem to have enjoyed their experience too!

Whether or not those smiles continue once things get back down to business with the New Zealand Darts Masters is another question entirely though. Humphries plays his first-ever match on New Zealand soil against 24-year-old Kayden Milne, Puha faces off against former world champion Rob Cross, Tata has the unenviable task of taking on teenage sensation Luke Littler and Robb faces the recently crowned Australian Darts Masters champion, Gerwyn Price.
