Luke Humphries and Luke Littler also set to battle for another accolade during Premier League Darts play-offs

Thursday night marks the end of Premier League Darts, where the playoffs night will see the battle for the coveted Premier League title. In the background, however, there is another battle.

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries will decide between themselves who can call himself the absolute 180 king of the Premier League Darts 2024. After 16 rounds of play in the regular competition, Littler tops the 180 standings with 114 maximum scores.

Humphries is in the lead with 107 180 scores. With at least one match remaining and possibly two matches over a long format (best of 19 legs in semifinals and best of 21 legs in the final) a deficit to overcome for 'Cool Hand Luke'.

Michael Smith managed to throw a 180 score 93 times during the competition, while Michael van Gerwen hit the triple 20 three times in one turn. The four dropouts after the league stage also threw the fewest 180-scores, although the difference between van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall (74 180-scores) was not very big. Behind them are Gerwyn Price (65), Rob Cross (55) and Peter Wright (43).

Line-up for playoffs known

As usual, the Premier League Darts playoffs will take place at the O2 Arena in London. The four best players from the league stage get to compete in them. The numbers one and four will play each other first, meaning that first Luke Littler and Michael Smith will battle for a final spot.

Then it is the turn of the numbers two and three; Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen. After the second semifinal there will be a short break before the two finalists will decide between themselves who will run away with the Premier League title and the accompanying cheque of 275,000 pounds in prize money.
