Luke Humphries won a Euro Tour tournament over the Easter weekend in phenomenal fashion. 'Cool Hand Luke' sprinkled a series of high averages in the process.
Humphries threw averages of 108.68, 111.63, 106.94, 99.93 and 112.66. The Englishman's tournament average ended at 107.51, and that average goes into the books as the second-highest tournament average ever on the Euro Tour.
The reigning world champion fell just a fraction short of improving Michael van Gerwen's record. 'Mighty Mike' recorded a tournament average of 107.58 at the 2018 European Darts Grand Prix. At that event, Van Gerwen recorded averages of 103.04, 104.80, 109.54, 109.59 and 110.87, respectively.

107.51. Second best to MvG's 107.58 at the European Darts Grand Prix in 2018. @TheAsset180 you made it to the last 16 of that event πŸ™‚ Humphries certainly putting himself in very elite company now.

Amazing. πŸ‘πŸ» Not confirmed yet, but it looks like the best tournament average in the history of winning an ET. All you can do is applaud @lukeh180. πŸ† #GDGP24
