CLASSY CLASSY KLINGE! Brody Klinge just produced a stirring performance to retain his Men's Victoria Easter Classic title. Klinge fired in five 180s and checkouts of 115 and 157 in a 6-3 final win over Danny Porter, averaging 91.32 in the process.
Brody Klinge and Jackie Marks won the WDF tournaments in New Zealand last weekend. The Victorian Easter Classic is ranked with bronze status on the WDF calendar.
Klinge won the men's tournament. He successively defeated Ricky Pickett (3-0), Adam Rowe (4-0), Aaron Morrison (4-2), Hayden Scott (5-3) and Danny Porter (6-3) to take the title. In the final, Kling threw an average of 91, compared to 87 for Porter.
Among the ladies, the final victory was a triumph for Jackie Marks. She dealt with Kayleigh Pickett (4-2), Chloe Kilpatrick (4-1), Kate Gifford (4-1) and Jo Hadley (5-3) during the knockout tournament.
