Michael van Gerwen comfortably tops list of most whitewashes handed out on European Tour

Michael van Gerwen won 6-0 over Joe Cullen at the German Darts Grand Prix last Monday. It was certainly not the first time "Mighty Mike" has handed out a whitewash to someone on the European Tour.

In fact, it was the 27th time Van Gerwen won a match on the European Tour with a whitewash. No player even comes close to the number of whitewashes handed out by Van Gerwen.

Dave Chisnall is second on the list. 'Chizzy' managed to win fifteen matches without losing a leg on the Euro Tour. Behind them are Mensur Suljovic and Peter Wright with ten whitewashes each.

Mervyn King treated nine opponents to a whitewash, while Jelle Klaasen managed eight. Adrian Lewis, Michael Smith and Stephen Bunting have six whitewashes to their names.

Gerwyn Price, Luke Humphries and Simon Whitlock have won the perfect six times, while Gary Anderson, Kim Huybrechts, Phil Taylor, Ricky Evans, Rob Cross and Ross Smith have won five times with a whitewash on the Euro Tour.
