Luke Humphries and
Luke Littler joined the last sixteen on Saturday night at the
Belgian Darts Open in Wieze. Humphries in particular left an indelible impression.
Cool Hand Luke' averaged 110.65 in his match against James Wade. Humphries recorded a 10-darter as early as the first leg, and ran out to 5-0 with a 12-darter and a 13-darter, among others.
Wade narrowly avoided a whitewash. After Humphries missed one matchdart, Wade managed to throw out 84 to make it 1-5. Humphries then ended the match with an 11-darter.
Luke Littler will also return to the final day of the Belgian Darts Open on Sunday. The 17-year-old teenage sensation triumphed 6-3 against Krzysztof Ratajski thanks to an average of 97.
