Stephen Bunting and
Rob Cross have completed the lineup for the last 16 of the
Belgian Darts Open. Both Englishmen were victorious Saturday night after thrilling matches.
Bunting had to give up the first two legs of his match against Josh Rock, but eventually came out ahead 4-2 and 5-4 against the Northern Irishman. Rock then forced a final leg. In the 11th leg, however, Bunting showed his class by throwing an 81 finish for the victory.
Cross narrowly won over Lukas Wenig, who was unable to cash in on a 3-0 lead against the former world champion. 'Voltage' then won five of the next six legs, before Wenig threw out 88 for 5-5. In the final leg, Cross decided the match with a 72 check-out.
