Luke Humphries vs Luke Littler set for last 32 as Ian White stuns Michael van Gerwen at Players Championship 7

Ian White has proven he's still more than capable on his day to beat the best, taking out Michael van Gerwen to reach the last 32 of Players Championship 7 in Leicester, where there will also be a rematch of the World Darts Championship final.
Van Gerwen managed to take a 4-2 lead after six legs, but missed doubles on 'Mighty Mike's' side meant the next three legs went to White. Van Gerwen forced a final leg, but it went to the Englishman with an 18-darter.
Elsewhere, Luke Littler eased past Robbie Knops 6-2 to set up a last 32 tie with Luke Humphries, in a rematch of the World Darts Championship final, after 'Cool Hand Luke' saw off Gabriel Clemens 6-4 in his respective last 64 tie.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
