Luke Littler defeats Luke Humphries in titanic tussle as Last 16 confirmed at Players Championship 7

The Last 16 has started at Players Championship 7 with Luke Littler getting the better again of Luke Humphries in a narrow 6-5 win for 'The Nuke'.

He produced a 98 average to see off the World Champion and World Number One. Now he has Ross Smith in his sights who defeated Masters champion, Stephen Bunting.

Others through include Josh Rock who will face Ryan Searle with the former defeating Nathan Aspinall. Third seed Damon Heta takes on Thibault Tricole in an otherwise open draw for the rest of the tournament. Daryl Gurney, Kim Huybrechts, Chris Dobey and Ian White are among the other well known names still involved with Joe Cullen, Jose de Sousa and Gian van Veen all falling at the Last 32 stage.
