Luke Littler has had a great debut year on the PDC
Pro Tour. This circuit consists of thirteen Euro Tour tournaments and thirty
Players Championship tournaments.
Littler earned a PDC Tour Card by reaching the final at the World Darts Championship. This performance put "The Nuke" in the top-64 of the world rankings in one fell swoop, so he did not have to go to Q-School.
The 17-year-old Englishman made his first appearance at a Players Championship tournament in February and won it handsomely. In total, Littler reached three Players Championship titles this season. Littler also struck his first Euro Tour tournament in March, when he won the Belgian Darts Open in March. Later in the season, the teenage sensation also took the title at the Austrian Darts Open in Graz.
The reigning Premier League champion played a total of 93 matches on the Pro Tour, and in 78.5 percent of those matches Littler emerged victorious, figures from TheRedBit180 show. No player on the Pro Tour boasts a better winning percentage.
Gary Anderson finished in second place with a winning percentage of 77.1 percent, although Anderson played 10 fewer matches. The Scot recorded three tournament victories of his own. Anderson won two Players Championships and one Euro Tour. With Humphries, it was the other way around. He captured a Players Championship title and two Euro Tours. The reigning world champion achieved a 74.2 percent winning percentage over 89 matches, good for third place.
In doing so, he narrowly left
Michael van Gerwen behind. For "Mighty Mike," the counter ended at a 73.3 percent winning percentage over 90 matches. Van Gerwen, like Humphries and Anderson, won three tournaments; two Players Championships and one Euro Tour tournament.
Another noteworthy name is
Ryan Searle, who played almost all Pro Tour tournaments, finishing a total of 119 matches. Of those, he won 70.6 percent of the matches played. It earned him five Pro Tour finals, one of which Searle managed to win.
