This weekend, the World Series of Darts makes the trip Down Under for the 2024
Australian Darts Masters. Before the action gets underway in Wollongong however, the players have had some free time to enjoy the sites.
Two of the PDC's representatives at this years edition of the Australian Darts Masters are former world champion and world number one
Michael Smith, plus the teenage darting sensation and recent Premier League Darts winner
Luke Littler.
As seen in images posted to the official social media pages of the PDC, both Littler and Smith made the trip to the Symbio Wildfire Park and "made some new friends" in the form of some of the most iconic Australian animals including kangaroos and koala bears.
Once the darts does get underway however, at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong on Friday August 9th and Saturday August 10th, Littler will meet one of the Australian qualifiers. Littler will play his first match on Australian soil against Rob Modra. For Smith, the tournament begins with a duel against Stuart Cuborn.
The first round starts on Friday, August 9, from 10:00 a.m. UK time. The eight winners will advance to the final day of the Australian Darts Masters. On Saturday, Aug. 10, the quarter-finals, semifinals and final will be played consecutively.
