The PDC has again released an alternative world ranking. This takes into account the form of every player, only over the last 200 legs played across the PDC circuit.
Topping the latest form charts,
Luke Littler. On the official world rankings, he has now risen up to 25th place, just six months after his bursting onto the scene at the most recent World Darts Championship, but on this alternative world rankings, Littler is firmly in first place. 'The Nuke,' who added another title to his
growing trophy cabinet by winning the Poland Darts Masters just last weekend, averaged 99.67 and checked out 41.54% on his doubles during his last 200 legs played, the kind of form that no one else can currently match.
Luke Littler won the Poland Darts Masters last weekend by defeating Rob Cross 8-3 in the final
In second place in this alternative world ranking we find
Luke Humphries. The world champion and
world number one on the official PDC Order of Merit, achieved an average of 98.69 and a checkout success rate of 42.74% on his doubles. The top three is completed by
Rob Cross. 'Voltage', who reached at least the final each of the last three World Series of Darts tournaments, winning the US Darts Masters in New York City, recorded an average of 98;53 and 43.25% checkout success on his doubles over his last 200 legs of darts.
Notably, after his recent impressive performances on the European Tour circuit,
Cameron Menzies finds himself 4th in the form rankings, ahead of Chris Dobey, Dave Chisnall and Martin Schindler. In the top ten we also find one Dutchman,
Michael van Gerwen. 'Mighty Mike,' who is still second in the official PDC Order of Merit, ranks a lowly eighth in this alternative world ranking with an average of 97.03 and 43.45% on his doubles. Completing the top 10, are
Gary Anderson and
Gerwyn Price, who himself has reached two World Series of Darts finals in the last month, winning one.
