The four semi-finalists have now been confirmed at the first
Pro Tour event of the year in Wigan.
Luke Littler,
Alan Soutar,
Ryan Searle and
Gian van Veen are into the final four.
Littler will take on Soutar. With a 6-3 victory over James Hurrell, Littler is only two wins away from a
Players Championship title on his Pro Tour debut. Soutar eliminated Nick Kenny 6-5 in the quarterfinals.
In the other semi, Van Veen will play Searle. 'Heavy Metal' won 6-2 over Jose de Sousa, having already won convincingly over Simon Whitlock (6-1), Jeffrey Sparidaans (6-0), Dom Taylor (6-1) and Mike de Decker (6-0) earlier in the day, whilst the Dutchman saw off Brendan Dolan in his quarter-final.
