Gary Anderson will face Gerwyn Price in the final of the 2021 PDC World Championship after defeating Dave Chisnall coming through after nearly getting embroiled in a real battle against the St Helens ace.
Anderson couldn't believe that his average was 100 and that neither player produced how they can.
He looked ahead to his tie with Price and believes it is a good sign for 'The Iceman' that he has managed to scrape through games.
"We said I don't know who's embarrassed, me winning or him losing. After we played the night before you know chalk and cheese. Somebody said 100 average, I would have never said that in a million years. I thought last night, I was on about 108, 109 and tonight I felt like I was on 72," said Anderson post match.
"When I won it for the first time, it was great until everything you've got to do. I vowed I'd never win it a second time and I did, I'm a glutton for punishment."
"I'll be quiet, he'll be loud. He played well tonight, he's nicked through, usually that's a good sign. I've done it before, there's games where I should have been beaten and I've nicked past it and I've gone onto win it."
