Mardle weighs in on debate regarding Whitlock's dart points: "No board would survive these barbed battering rams"

Simon Whitlock has received criticism previously regarding his points and their effects on the dartboard and this was the case also during Thursday night's World Matchplay when he lost to Gary Anderson.

On Whitlock; Wayne Mardle, Sky Sports pundit and commentator as well as ex-player weighed in on the debate and said that they 'should be banned'.

"The same discussion occurs every time Simon plays. His points should be banned. End. No board would survive these barbed battering rams," he wrote on Twitter.

It is a debate which continues whenever Whitlock plays and one which now Mardle has weighed into.
