Dimitri Van de Bergh won the Dutch Darts Masters last weekend. For the Belgian it was the second consecutive tournament win at the World Series.
Van den Bergh defeated Dirk van Duijvenbode in the final in Amsterdam 8-2 and
Chris Mason was full of praise for making the small improvements.
"He almost gets himself into this zen-like mood and it works for him. We've been talking about making those small 1% improvements and that's what he's done and as I said before, we've watched the evolution of Dimitri in front of our very eyes over the past ten years," said Mason on ITV.
"He's made those increments. When he won back-to-back World Youth titles, his performances in both of them then he averaged over a hundred, he's some player."
"He has learned how to lead and then dominate his opponent. All the players can have off days, we see it happen all the time from the very best and the elite. Dart players are not robots but Dimitri is not far off it," he added.
