Michael Smith, Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting all fall in second round at Players Championship 11

The board finals have begun at Players Championship 11 with three big names falling by the wayside in the second round in Hildesheim. Those being Peter Wright, Michael Smith and Stephen Bunting.

Michael Smith lost to a strong performance from Mensur Suljovic (6-5). Two-time world champion Peter Wright also went down. 'Snakebite' lost 6-3 to Mervyn King.

Whilst Stephen Bunting was defeated by Stephen Burton 6-5. Other casualties included Andrew Gilding, Ross Smith, Josh Rock and Martin Schindler among others. James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Gian van Veen and Dirk van Duijvenbode have all joined Gerwyn Price in the last 32 though.
