Michele Turetta cannot be there Monday when the ninth
Players Championship tournament is played in Hildesheim. He has to miss the tournament because he could not yet make the trip to Germany.
''I cannot compete in Players Championship 9 because my train to Hildesheim has been cancelled,'' Turetta announced on Facebook. ''On Tuesday (Players Championship 10) and Wednesday (two Euro Tour qualifying tournaments) I will be there.''
Earlier this year, Turetta managed to become the first Italian darter ever to win a Tour Card at the Q-School. On his Players Championship debut in February, he managed a handsome victory over Dave Chisnall. In total, he has earned £5,000 in prize money at the first tournaments of this season.
