Scott Mitchell has remained unbeaten in this week's MODUS Icons of Darts League after making it ten straight wins with another clean sweep.
Mitchell has been excellent all week and could emulate the prowess of Ritchie Edhouse and Martin Adams who claimed all three groups last week; albeit potentially with the added caveat of remaining unbeaten.
On Thursday, he defeated Mark Webster (5-3), Paul Nicholson (5-4), John Brown (5-1), Stephen Burton (5-2) and Andy Jenkins (5-3) to cement a perfect day.
The top two was a carbon copy of Tuesday with Paul Nicholson finishing second once again with three wins and two defeats which put him again on six points.
Stephen Burton has began finding his stride and sits third with four points winning his last two games after a winless start to the day. This was only just ahead of Mark Webster who was behind on leg difference.
There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
The scores are recorded during matches via a webcam with this then uploaded to various scoring services and bookmakers who are all showing the action. The livestream is provided by organiser MODUS .
