Mitchell has been excellent all night and as a result has finished just below Wessel Nijman in second spot after a brilliant whitewash win over his fellow former Lakeside World Champion.
It was done so in style as well with 'Scotty Dog' taking out 128 to claim the tie and produce an excellent display in the process.
Edhouse also got off the mark tonight in his final game seeing off last night's Group winner and the in-form player in the tournament in David Evans in a 5-1 victory with a 96.6 average leaving him with some confidence from proceedings.
