Former Lakeside champion Scott Mitchell will make his debut on the European Tour after coming through Associate Member Qualifier for the Hungarian Darts Trophy.
'Scotty Dog' defeated Mats Gies in the final round. Mitchell also overcame the likes of Kai Weinert, Sven Hilling, Jeremy van der Winkel and Thibault Tricole on his route to victory.
Elsewhere, Andy Boulton qualified for his fifth different Euro Tour event of the year despite the fact he has no tour card. Boulton defeated another former Lakeside champion in Christian Kist to secure his spot in Hungary.
