Murnan on facing fan favourite Lim in scrappy encounter: "I don't know how Price copes"

Joe Murnan defeated Paul Lim in a scrappy encounter which compared to the other ties on a bumper Friday night of darting drama.

Murnan spoke afterwards and said he now knows how Gerwyn Price feels in terms of receiving boos all the time and doesn't know how he copes.

"I'm overwhelmed actually because I got over the line but people won't understand until they get up there play Paul Lim and the crowd's on his side and you're just stood there listening, it was crazy," said Murnan post match.

"I don't know how Gezzy (Price) copes, he must have just got tough skin or something because it was hard work for me that. It's probably worse for him, how he's achieved what he has I don't know it's crazy."
