Nijman claims impressive victories against Adams and Edhouse, Evans eases past Van Barneveld in brilliant display

Nijman started his campaign with a double win over firstly Martin Adams which saw him claim a 5-1 victory against the darting legend. He hit a 101.8 average en route alongside 5/6 on the doubles and followed that up by easing past Ritchie Edhouse also by the same scoreline.

It wasn't as dominant performance wise but he still hit three 180's and 94.4 average to make it two from two.

Also making it two from two was Evans who produced another stunning display to ease past Raymond van Barneveld 5-1 with a 102.7 average and 5/8 on the doubles. 'Stretch' is a man in form and could be the player to beat this week.
