Adams sees off Van Barneveld in match of missed doubles, Evans continues form with comeback win over Edhouse

Adams against Raymond van Barneveld was seen by many as the big match of the first evening of action and it was 'Wolfie' who took the honours in a battle of former multiple World Champions.

It was a match full of missed doubles with the averages reflecting this with 77.4 for Adams and 76.8 for Van Barneveld. This reflected into 22 percent on the doubles for 'Wolfie' and 18 percent for RVB to start the night.

Evans was one of the main stars of last week winning the first week of the Icons of Darts League and so made the progression into playing in the evening this week and cemented that choice by seeing off Ritchie Edhouse.

'Stretch' had to produce a comeback to do so though coming from 2-0 down to see off 'Madhouse' but hit a 98 average and 31 percent on his doubles en route.
