The action is at it's halfway point in A Night At The Darts with Wessel Nijman currently unbeaten with two wins as he looks to cut the gap in the overall table.
Nijman firstly saw off
Jason Askew in a 5-2 win with a 97.5 average in an impressive display with nearly 50 percent on the doubles and two 180's.
He followed that up with victory over
David Evans who himself had claimed some important ground with an early win over
Martin Adams who went on to suffer consecutive losses in his pursuit of overall honours this week.
The young Dutchman hit five 180's and a 104 average to close the gap to six points at the halfway point in the night meaning for Adams, he needs to get some points on the board tonight.
Jason Askew despite losing early on also produced a quality display seeing off
Scott Mitchell in a 5-3 win with a 102.7 average and 5/6 on the doubles to go level with Mitchell and Adams albeit behind on leg difference.
