Danny Noppert surged past Ian White in the Quarter-Finals of the World Grand Prix with a tie with Jonny Clayton booked as he looks to reach a first major final since the World Series Finals in 2019.
Noppert spoke afterwards and was delighted to add to his wins over Michael van Gerwen and Vincent van der Voort.
"I'm over the moon. I'm really happy with this win, good performance the whole week. I'm playing well and keep going like this what more can I say," said Noppert post match.
Title aspirations and top 16 dream
When asked about whether he thinks he can win the title, his answer is simple.
"I always believe. I'm speechless now at the moment. I'm steady why not."
While also maintaining a dream to reach the top 16 in the world in the process if his run continues.
"For sure, every dart player dreams about it to reach the top 16 but before I was dreaming about the top 32 and I'm in. You need to get a level and make yourself better."
