Stephen Bunting came through a scrappy affair against Ryan Searle to reach the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix where he will take on Gerwyn Price this evening.
'The Bullet' admitted he was ready especially after being ready to quit only a few years ago.
"I'm showing that I can scrap and get wins. Obviously there's no breaks now but I'll be ready for whatever is ahead,"
"This time three years ago we said about it, I was ready for wrapping up. Now I feel like I'm here I can win even though that performance probably didn't show my best game, it showed certain aspects of the game that I've not had for a long time. "
Price clash
He discussed that tie with 'The Iceman' and admitted there is no grudge there from him after losing in the World Championship final.
"I've not seen what's happened to be honest (hostile crowd), I'll just go out there. I know what I've got to do to win that game. He's a great player, he's World Number One and you don't get World Number One for being a muppet but if I turn up and play my game, I'll push him all the way like I did at the World's.
"I don't hold any grudges. Gerwyn played fantastic in the World's and I was the first to congratulate him but at the same time, I've got to look after my career. I've got to look after my family and listen I've got to put bread on the table."
