"Obviously I’ve just got to make sure I’m not burnt out" – Beau Greaves isn't sure about plan to manage schedule yet amid ProTour move

Beau Greaves has begun the 2026 season in exactly the same fashion she ended the last, by winning. The 22 year old continued her extraordinary dominance on the PDC Women’s Series by claiming victory in Events 1 and 2 in Hildesheim, Germany, extending her remarkable winning streak to 15 consecutive titles.
Asked to reflect on that achievement, Greaves was understandably delighted with the scale of what she has accomplished. “Yeah, obviously it’s massive,” she said. “Do you know what I mean? Obviously coming off the back of however many I did, 13 before, it was obviously great. I’ve had some bad games today and some good games, but it’s all part of that, isn’t it? And like I say, obviously I’m chuffed. It’s insane I’ve won 15 on a trot. So yeah, it’s really good.”

ProTour balancing act

With 24 Women’s Series events scheduled this season, Greaves has already laid down a significant marker. Yet despite her status as the clear favourite at almost every tournament she enters, she remains keen not to overburden herself with expectations.
“Not really,” she said when asked whether she sets herself targets. “I just try not to be too hard on myself. Obviously, when I’m playing, I know I’m going to have some games where I don’t play too well. And obviously, you know, I’ve seen today I seem to play well when it mattered, and that’s the main thing.”
That ability to deliver under pressure continues to separate Greaves from the rest of the field. “Like I say, I get over the line and obviously I do enough to win,” she added.
However, 2026 represents a new chapter in her career. Alongside her continued success on the Women’s Series, Greaves is now a PDC Tour Card holder, meaning her calendar is busier, and more complex, than ever before.
“There’s so many tours now that I’m still able to play on while I’m on the ProTour,” she explained. “I haven’t started my ProTour card yet, I will this week, so it’s interesting. I don’t know.”
Managing that schedule will be crucial. “I’d like to say I’ve got to balance my schedule well, because a lot of the ProTours follow on the back of the Dev Tour or the Women’s Series,” she said. “So it’s about balancing it, but still enjoying it.”
Enjoyment, Greaves repeatedly stressed, remains central to her approach. “I really enjoy the Women’s Series, so yeah, I always look to win,” she said. “And yeah, I don’t want to get beat.”
That competitive edge is sharper than ever. Reflecting on her current unbeaten run, Greaves admitted her mindset has changed compared to previous streaks. “I don’t want to get beat now,” she said. “I want to keep going until someone plays really well and beats me fair and square.”
“When I look back at that kind of trot I had, I don’t know what year it was, I thought I was happy to get beat,” she added. “I’m going to be raging when I get beat because I don’t want it to end.”
Greaves acknowledged that luck has played its part, but sees that as part of the game. “I am riding my luck a little bit,” she said. “But that’s that, isn’t it? Sometimes you need to be a bit lucky, and I have been a bit today.”
Looking ahead to the rest of the year, Greaves confirmed she will once again take a selective approach to her schedule. “Obviously I’ve always picked and chose throughout my whole career,” she said. “But it’s just because I really enjoy playing the Women’s Series. It’s not just because I win a load of them, I enjoy it, it’s just because I enjoy my darts there.”
She also suggested that the Development Tour may take a back seat in the short term. “I’ll probably give the Dev Tour a miss maybe for the first year,” she explained. “And then obviously if it’s not going too well, then I will get back on the Dev Tour the following year to see if I could get my Tour Card back that way.”

Freedom on Women's Series

The relative freedom she feels on the Women’s Series is another factor. “I don’t feel as much pressure on the Women’s Series, which is why I like to play and still have an enjoyment through the PDC circuit instead of it being so serious all the time,” she said. “But like I say, things change. I don’t know what I’ll do. I might play a few Dev Tours, I might not.”
Greaves also highlighted the importance of avoiding burnout as she adjusts to life across multiple tours. “I’ve never done it before, so it’s all new to me as well,” she said. “And obviously I’ve just got to make sure I’m not burnt out.”
While wins continue to pile up on the Women’s Series, Greaves believes the tougher challenges she faces elsewhere are just as valuable. “I’m learning in every game,” she said. “I’ll never stop learning.”
“The Dev Tour and Challenge Tour have helped my game,” she added. “And I think now, obviously, being on the ProTour will bring another side out to my game as well. That constant pressure, the rankings, needing to win and all that stuff.”
Despite the intensity, her outlook remains positive. “I enjoy it,” she said. “Even sometimes when I get beat I’m raging, but I learn from it and I’ll come off better in the end.”
“So yeah,” she concluded, “positive, innit? Trying to be positive all the time. Got to be positive all the time.”
The PDC Women’s Series continues in Hildesheim this afternoon, with Events 3 and 4 on the schedule, and with Beau Greaves once again the player everyone is trying to stop.
