Target Darts has officially taken over the management of reigning World Champion Luke Littler, marking a new chapter in one of the most high-profile partnerships in the sport.
The announcement follows the teenager’s recent split from ZXF Management, ending a five-year relationship with Martin Foulds’ company that guided Littler from junior prodigy to global phenomenon. Now, Target — the manufacturer that has backed him since he was 12 — will take full control of his professional affairs both on and off the oche.

From prodigy to powerhouse

Having first joined Team Target as a schoolboy, Littler’s rise has been nothing short of extraordinary. In the space of just two years, he has become one of darts’ most recognisable names, capturing the World Championship, Premier League, World Matchplay, and most recently World Grand Prix titles before his 19th birthday.
Target Darts said in a statement: “We’ve worked closely with Luke and his family for many years and are proud to have been part of his incredible journey. Luke’s professionalism, focus, and natural talent make him a truly special player, and we’re committed to providing the support and structure he needs to reach even greater heights.”
This move extends Target’s role from equipment partner to full management team, creating a more streamlined setup for Littler as he continues his rapid ascent. It also means his commercial, media, and professional commitments will now be handled directly by the brand that helped shape his career from the beginning.

A seamless transition after ZXF departure

Littler’s decision comes just days after confirming his amicable split from ZXF Management. The 18-year-old thanked Foulds and his team for their role in his early success, citing the need for a “next step with new representation” as his playing and media schedule continues to grow.
“I want to say a massive thank you to ZXF Management, and especially Martin, for everything they've done for me so far in my career,” Littler wrote in a statement last week. “We’ve had some amazing times together over the last five years and I’ll always be grateful for the advice and support that helped me to get to this point. As my career moves forward and the schedule gets busier, we’ve agreed it’s the right time for me to take the next step with new representation.”
It was Foulds who first spotted Littler’s potential back in 2020 and helped steer him through his record-breaking rise — from a 16-year-old World Championship finalist to the youngest major winner in darts history. Under ZXF’s guidance, Littler broke viewing records, became a global media attraction, and firmly established himself among the sport’s elite.
Now, that next step comes with Target Darts — a company that has long been synonymous with his success.

Littler: “Target has been part of my career from the very beginning”

Speaking about the new arrangement, Littler said: “Target has been part of my career from the very beginning, and I’ve always had a great relationship with everyone there. I’m really happy to have their backing as I continue to focus on my game and prepare for the big tournaments ahead.”
As Littler’s schedule intensifies and his commercial profile expands, the decision to bring everything under one roof appears to be as much about stability as ambition. With Target now managing both his playing and professional commitments, the 18-year-old has surrounded himself with familiar faces who know his game — and his brand — better than anyone.
In a sport where rapid success can often lead to chaotic change, this partnership represents something rare: continuity, trust, and shared ambition between darts’ brightest star and one of its biggest names.
