MODUS Sports Management has proudly announced a long-term agreement with two former major winners and Premier League Darts stars, Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey.
Aspinall has long been one of the most popular and recognizable personalities within the PDC and is deliberately choosing a new chapter in his career with this partnership. Aspinall made his major breakthrough at the 2019 World Championship by reaching the semi-finals, following that with his first major title: the UK Open, sealing a victory over Rob Cross 11-5 in the final, with an iconic 170 checkout that still lives long in the memory.

Two major titles

Since then, the career of Aspinall has accelerated. In 2023, he was crowned winner of the prestigious World Matchplay, one of the most coveted titles on the darts calendar. He also reached multiple major finals, including the Premier League Darts, the World Grand Prix, the Grand Slam of Darts, and the World Series of Darts Finals. He has been a regular force at floor events too, with five Players Championship titles to his name.
In 2025, Aspinall again showed he was in top form. On the European Tour, he captured no fewer than three tournament victories, further underlining his status as a top player. Those strong performances form an important basis for his decision to join MODUS Sports Management.

“Taking the next step”

“I am massively excited for this new chapter in my career,” said Aspinall. “I’d like to place on record my thanks to ZXF for guiding a big part of my career, but I believe with a fresh team behind me, and a massive one in MODUS, I can really kick on and achieve many more things in the sport.”
According to Aspinall, the time is right to look ahead. “My game is in an amazing place at the moment, and I feel that big tournament wins and milestones are around the corner, and with MODUS in my corner, they will be a big part of helping me to realise my goals.”
Choosing MODUS is anything but a leap into the unknown for Aspinall. He has long-standing experience with the organisation through events and exhibition tournaments. “I have been part of their events and exhibitions for a while now, and I’m always made to feel welcome and looked after. That’s really important to me.”

“His record speaks for itself”

There is plenty of satisfaction at MODUS Sports Management as well. Billy Lovell responded enthusiastically on behalf of the organisation. “We are so pleased to have Nathan on board."
Lovell sees major opportunities for the future. “His record in the sport speaks for itself, and he is well-loved by the fans and his peers alike. There are no limits as to what Nathan can achieve in darts, and we look forward to being a big part of this next exciting period in his career.”

Dobey also signs multi-year agreement

Alongside securing Aspinall, MODUS had more good news to share. Chris Dobey, 2023 Masters champion and the current world number thirteen, also signed a multi-year agreement.
“I'm over the moon to have signed with MODUS,” said Dobey. “It's a fresh start for me, and I'm really excited as to what I can achieve with MODUS behind me. I'd like to thank ZXF Sports Management for their support over the past few years, but I felt the time was right for a change, and I'm sure I can go on to achieve big things with the backing of the team at MODUS."
Billy Lovell expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership on behalf of MODUS. “We are very pleased to be able to work with Chris. Chris has been a mainstay in the top 16 of the PDC rankings for some time now, and this is an exciting chapter in his career. He is a massive talent with plenty of titles and experience under his belt, and we look forward to helping him achieve his aims in 2026 and beyond."
