Last weekend, the first tournaments of the 2022 PDC Challenge Tour were played. This was summed up in numbers by statistician, Philipp Wolff.
In total, 1,363 matches were played. These matches resulted in 9,838 legs and 335,656 darts thrown. A 170 finish was thrown five times over the weekend.
Lee Evans threw a 180 score 52 times, the most of any player. James Richardson provided the highest average with 115.62. In total, a 100+ average was recorded 27 times.
The average of all matches during the first five tournaments of the PDC Challenge Tour was 81.01. That is slightly higher than the average during the Q-School (80.08).
