Rashad Sweeting might not have won on his PDC World Darts Championship debut on Tuesday night against Jeffrey de Graaf but the Bahamian leaves the Alexandra Palace having made a lasting impact in his brief appearance.
Sweeting had obviously resolved to fully enjoy the atmosphere in Ally Pally and, meanwhile, was loudly encouraged by the fans in the room. The "walking in a Sweeting wonderland" echoed loudly several times in Alexandra Palace. Although the result did not go his way, Sweeting can return home with an experience richer.

Such an impact was made hy Sweeting that tournament sponsors Paddy Power are making a special, one-off charitable gesture in honour of the Bahamian.
