The PDC Asian Tour will return to a full calendar of events in 2023 for the first time in four years, with 24 events taking place across the continent.
After its introduction in 2018, the Asian Tour had a successful first two years before the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the 2020 season, with subsequent restrictions making a return in 2021 and 2022 impossible.
This year the PDC Asian Championship was introduced, with Christian Perez capturing the title and the four semi-finalists qualifying for the World Darts Championship.
However, a full calendar of events will return in 2023, with the first 15 events taking place in five countries. Dates for a further nine events across three countries and the 2023 PDC Asian Championship will be confirmed in due course.
Each event offers $10,000 in prize money, with prize money won counting towards the PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit. This ranking will be used as a qualifying tool for the Asian Darts Championship, World Cup of Darts, Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.
