Christian Perez on Sunday crowned himself the winner of the first-ever edition of the PDC Asian Championship. In this tournament, 48 Asian darters participated.

This event was mainly about dividing the four starting spots for the World Darts Championship. The group stage and the last sixteen were played on Saturday. Well-known names such as Seigo Asada, Mikuru Suzuki, Royden Lam and Paul Lim lost out.
