PDC European Tour Order of Merit Update: Luke Littler first leader after title in Wieze

Luke Littler, by winning the Belgian Darts Open, immediately took the lead position on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit. By winning the Euro Tour tournament in Wieze, 'The Nuke' earned the top prize of 30,000 pounds.
The 18-year-old teenage sensation successively defeated Ryan Searle (6-3), Luke Woodhouse (6-4), Dave Chisnall (6-4), James Wade (7-3) and Mike de Decker (8-5) to take the title at the Belgian Darts Open for the second consecutive year.
De Decker is in second place with 12,000 pounds after his final place finish. Semi-finalists James Wade and Ross Smith made it to the semifinals in Wieze and could take home 8,500 pounds in prize money.
Behind them follow Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton and Dave Chisnall with 6,000 pounds. They reached the quarter-finals of the Belgian Darts Open. Dirk van Duijvenbode was the best Dutchman at the Belgian Euro Tour event. 'Aubergenius' lost in the last sixteen against Clayton and had to settle for ÂŁ4,000.
Top players Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Chris Dobey, Peter Wright, Gary Anderson and Josh Rock are missing from the rankings. They were automatically qualified for the Belgian Darts Open, meaning they did have to win a match to have their prize money counted toward the various rankings. However, they were all eliminated in their first match and remain at zero for now.
At the end of the season, the 32 best players on the PDC European Tour Order of Merit may compete in the European Championship. This event will take place from Oct. 23 to 26 in Dortmund.

- I'm a big Huybretchs fan from when he broke through at the euros in the early days, but his action has gone. So jerky and inconsistent. - Congratulations Zehra, an excellent performance, 3-0 was harsh on Rebecca, she played well and actually won a decent trophy better than what Zehra won. I think it is extremely poor and insulting that the girls prize money is half of what the boys win. At that level it should be equal, girls wanting to take up darts will see the injustice of winnings and could think twice about taking up the sport. Ultimately, winning is the only thing that matters, but I would be vocal about prize money if the female equivalent was double the amount.richieburnettrocks08-12-2025
- Having been at Lakeside all week, I am glad it's over. It is not the same and the atmosphere is completely flat. Ultimately, I think they should reduce the format for the men, just make it 32 not 64. It's very long winded and completely rushed and compacted towards the last few days. Mitchell is an excellent player but had to play a 6 set boys final just hours before his 9 set mens final. If the whole competition was spread out he would have not been forced to play 2 major finals in an afternoon, it is ridiculous and Sophie McKinlay had the same situation last year.richieburnettrocks08-12-2025

- Sophie v Paige warranted a final and deserved a longer format, despite the completely shambolic start to the match regarding the scoring which I think unnerved both players, it was an excellent game. Both are outstanding players with great futures in darts. It was a shame such talented players had to meet so early and that Paige is out, she is brilliant and blitzed Sophie in that first set. Fantastic comeback from Sophie, so calm and nonchalant, survived a real scare but hope she becomes World Champion.richieburnettrocks04-12-2025
