A new
PDC Form Guide has been released. This tracks the statistics of all Tour Card holders, but only takes into account their last 200 legs played. On this alternative world ranking,
Luke Littler is first.
Luke Littler won the
UK Open just last weekend. The 18-year-old Englishman did so with superiority, only in one of his six matches did he fail to reach a 100+ average. In the latest version of the PDC Form Guide he is the only player with a 100+ average, 'The Nuke' clocked up an average of 103.22 in his last 200 legs played. His doubles percentage is also quite high at 44.26%.
In second place we find
Gary Anderson. The past UK Open was not a success for "The Flying Scotsman," losing immediately on his first assignment against Jonny Clayton, yet he continues to do extremely well in terms of averages. Anderson achieved an average of 99.08 during his last 200 legs played. Then again, his doubles percentage of 37.38% is rather on the low side.
Gian van Veen reached the quarter-finals at the UK Open last weekend
The top three is completed by
Gian van Veen. The 22-year-old Dutchman reached the quarterfinals of the UK Open last weekend, in which he lost to eventual winner Littler. Van Veen has climbed to 25th place in the world rankings and judging by his statistics that does not seem to be the limit. During his last 200 legs played, Van Veen recorded an average of 98.70 and a particularly high double percentage of 48.57%. No one in the top has a higher doubles percentage than Van Veen.
Notably,
Michael van Gerwen, is still in sixth place. 'Mighty Mike,' who lost to Robert Owen in the last 32 of the UK Open last weekend, clocks in at an average of 98.34. However, his doubles percentage of 36.95% is the second lowest of any player in the top ten.
