March 2026 is packed with elite darts. The calendar serves up a run of major tournaments, with Premier League nights, multiple Players Championships, and several European Tour events.
For fans, that means top-level action almost every week. It’s not only the established names on the PDC circuit in action. Players without a PDC Tour Card also get ample chances this month to showcase themselves at separate events and qualifiers.
That makes March important not only for the world’s best, but also for darts players aiming to break into the pro circuit. Below is an overview of the main PDC tournaments scheduled in March.

05/03/2026: Premier League Darts Night 5

The Premier League Darts match night preceding the UK Open had always been staged in Exeter in recent years, but that tradition has been broken from this season. The fifth night will be held in the Welsh capital Cardiff, which is still relatively close to Minehead.
It means a home fixture for both Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price. Clayton even arrives in Cardiff as Premier League leader. Welsh fans are in for a blockbuster, as Clayton faces second-placed Gian van Veen. Price plays Stephen Bunting, the winner of Night 4 in Belfast. Michael van Gerwen locks horns with Luke Humphries, and Luke Littler takes on Josh Rock.
Players can earn ranking points on every night. The nightly winner collects five points, while the runner-up takes home three. The semi-finalists who fall short receive two points.

06/03/2026–08/03/2026: UK Open

A key date in March is always the UK Open, one of the most unique tournaments on the PDC calendar. With no fewer than 160 participants, the FA Cup of Darts is also the major with the largest field.
What makes the event so special is that a fresh draw is made after every round. That means big names can meet early in the tournament, which also gives lesser-known players a real chance to make a run at a major.
Luke Littler is the defending champion at the UK Open. “The Nuke” scored a resounding 11-2 victory over three-time champion James Wade in last year’s final.

12/03/2026: Premier League Darts Night 6

The Premier League Darts moves on to Night 6. The stars can be seen on March 12 in the city of Robin Hood, Nottingham. At the Motorpoint Arena, Josh Rock faces Stephen Bunting, while Jonny Clayton takes on Michael van Gerwen. Luke Humphries meets his bogeyman Gian van Veen, and Luke Littler clashes with Gerwyn Price.

13/03/2026– 15/03/2026: European Darts Trophy (ET2)

The Euro Tour also resumes in March. Mid-month we visit Göttingen, Germany, for the second event of the year. The European Darts Trophy boasts a top-class field, including Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, and Gerwyn Price.
The defending champion in Göttingen is Nathan Aspinall. “The Asp” claimed his first Euro Tour title there last year, doing so with an 8-4 win over Ryan Joyce in the final.

19/03/2026: Premier League Darts Night 7

With Night 7, the Premier League approaches the end of the first half of the season. This time the darts roadshow visits Dublin, where players will look to test their luck. The evening in the Irish capital kicks off with the Dutch clash between Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen. Luke Littler meets Stephen Bunting, and Josh Rock faces Gerwyn Price. Jonny Clayton and Luke Humphries will decide who becomes the fourth semi-finalist in Dublin.

20/03/2026–22/03/2026: Belgian Darts Open (ET3)

After the Premier League night in Antwerp in February, Belgian fans can once again watch the world’s best up close. In the Belgian town of Wieze, the Belgian Darts Open will be played from March 20 to 22.
This tournament is part of the PDC European Tour. Over the past two seasons, it was Luke Littler who lifted the trophy in Wieze each time. In 2024 he beat Rob Cross 8-7 in the final, after throwing a nine-darter in the decider. Last year he kept Mike De Decker from the title.

21/03/2026–22/03/2026: PDC Women's Series 5-8

The Women’s Series also takes its place on the PDC calendar in March. On this circuit, the world’s best female players meet across a series of tournaments that are gaining importance on the international stage. Four events are scheduled across two days, with direct implications for qualification for the major televised tournaments.
There is a lot at stake. Players collect ranking money in the race to qualify for the World Darts Championship and the Grand Slam of Darts. The Women’s Series season comprises 24 tournaments in total, rewarding those who deliver the most consistent results.
At the end of the year, the top three players on the ranking secure a spot at the World Darts Championship. The number one on the Women’s Series Order of Merit also receives an invitation to the Grand Slam of Darts. In addition, this circuit feeds into qualification for the Women’s World Matchplay, where a Worlds ticket and a Grand Slam berth are also on the line.

26/03/2026: Premier League Darts Night 8

The eighth night of the Premier League Darts takes a trip to mainland Europe, with the Uber Arena in Berlin hosting the evening. The schedule for this night will be set at a later date. The Night 8 lineup depends on the Premier League Darts standings after seven weeks of competition.
The table determines the quarterfinals: the leader faces number eight, number two meets number seven, and so on. That way, the current standings directly shape the evening’s matchups.

27/03/2026 - 29/03/2026: PDC Challenge Tour 6-10

Leicester hosts the second block of the Challenge Tour this weekend. The best players without a PDC Tour Card will battle for three straight days in a grueling run of five tournaments. It will be an endurance test where every leg counts in the fight for promotion to the professional circuit.
The Challenge Tour features 24 tournaments this season, spread across five weekends of play. Big rewards await at the end of the campaign. The top two players on the final ranking receive a PDC Tour Card, guaranteeing them Pro Tour entry for the next two seasons.
There are extra incentives on offer as well. Three players qualify for the World Darts Championship via this circuit, while the number one on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit also earns a Grand Slam of Darts spot. That makes the stage in Leicester not only a chance to bank prize money, but above all a springboard to the highest level.

30/03/2026 - 31/03/2026: Players Championship 7-8

The next Players Championship events will be played in Leicester. These floor tournaments are a crucial part of the PDC calendar. Tour Card holders compete not only for the day’s title and the £15,000 top prize, but above all for ranking money that can prove decisive in the qualification races for the majors.
A Players Championship features a 128-player field. In principle, these are the 128 PDC Tour Card holders. If a player does not enter or withdraws, the highest-ranked players from the Challenge Tour Order of Merit step in to complete the draw.
For many players, these tournaments are vital. Floor results determine who makes the Players Championship Finals. At the end of the season, the top 64 on the ranking head to Minehead, where the season finale is staged.
